Our Story

Hi – Welcome to Allworks Limited.

I’m Kevin Snook, Managing Director and Owner. Originally named Plants To You, I established Allworks in 2001 after an extensive career in electrical works, project management and building.

Born in Auckland, but a Wellingtonian since 1976 by choice and now residing in the Wairarapa on our dream lifestyle block which keeps me busy when I’m not working for Allworks. After the hills and valleys of Wellington, the challenge in the flat land of Wairarapa has taken a bit of getting used to! My wife Alison and I have 3 grown children, all Wellington based, who have all been a part of the Company at various points in their life and have helped continue my vision and mantra for the Company.

We started out with just a team of 3 – including me! We’ve expanded now to a team of over 30, making us one of the largest privately owned landscaping/building companies in Wellington. We’ve also separated our workforce into specific areas of Expertise – landscaping, building and plantcare. This means that we can support multiple, separate jobs at the same time, while also having the ability to use a mix of teams where the job requires it.

When setting up Allworks, my vision was of a “one stop shop”, so that we could honestly say “We Do It All for You”. We’ll organise the whole job – be it Landscaping, Building or Plantcare. Our team members complement each other’s skills and areas of expertise, ensuring we can provide a wide-ranging professional service to our clients.

We can work with you to build a design – we can liaise with architects, engineers, the local council, to make it easier for you. Or we can take your existing design and make it happen. At all times through this process, you will deal directly with Allworks, ensuring open lines of communication, and that the whole job is being run efficiently.

Our Senior Field Team members are all fully qualified in their own area, and we encourage all other team members to work towards a qualification. While this involves more admin and non-productive input to support ongoing training, we see it as a vital way to build the industry and give back to our team members.

Our Field Teams are supported by an inhouse Admin and Design Team, based locally in Ngaio, Wellington. This support team allows our field staff to concentrate on their job, while all the job logistics and planning are managed for them. When you contact us, you’ll be dealing with someone in the office, but who is part of the lifeline supporting the team in the field.

I am very proud of the awesome team we have at Allworks™. They are dedicated and committed to going the extra mile, while supporting each other and our clients. They have taken my vision and made it their own.
